October 16, HBIS Chairman Liu Jian met BlueFive Capital founder and CEO Hazem Ben-Gacem in Beijing and they agreed jointly explore the future direction of cooperation and promote the bilateral relationship to a deeper level.

BlueFive Capital Co-Founder, partner Chi Shaojie, Zheng Yuqing and CICC Capital Director President Tong Xuanzi, Executive President Ma Zhengwei were also in the meeting.

Liu Jian welcomed Hazem Ben-Gacem and gave a brief introduction of HBIS. He said HBIS had been focusing on high end, intelligent and green development by upgrading the products and intelligent manufacturing and leading the green and low carbon development. HBIS is the most internationalized steel manufacture in the country and owns business network in more than 100 countries. The market in the mid-east has a great potential and HBIS has been working with Saudi AHQ Group, UAE IRH to strengthen the cooperation. HBIS wishes to deepen the collaboration with BlueFive Capital and CICC Capital to explore more opportunities.

Hazem Ben-Gacem introduced its global business layout and key development strategies of BlueFive Capital. He said that BlueFive Capital is a global investment platform headquartered in ABU Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with offices in ABU Dhabi, Beijing, London and other places. It focuses on new infrastructure, technology, green energy and other fields, and expects to play a bridging and linking role in promoting cross-border cooperation and investment between Gulf countries and China. BlueFive Capital has established a long-term strategic cooperative relationship with CICC Capital. In the future, they will give full play to their respective advantages, fully support the overseas development of HBIS Group, and at the same time deepen exchanges and expand space in green and low-carbon, international business and other aspects, and join hands for common development and progress.
